Peruvian film producer from the Amazon region, born in Iquitos, Peru, in 1982. Most of her work highlights the realities, mythology, and challenges of this vital region for the planet. She is set to release three feature films in theaters between 2024 and 2025. Her projects have received over 50 awards at film festivals and more than 130 official selections.
She served as executive producer for La Pampa (2023), directed by Dorian Fernández Moris, which premiered in Peruvian theaters in June 2023. The film explores the trafficking of women and girls linked to illegal gold mining in the Peruvian Amazon. It won the Audience Award for Best Film at the 50th Gramado Festival in Brazil.
She is also the executive producer of Arde Lima (2024), a documentary following 15 drag artists in one of Latin America’s most conservative cities. Directed by Alberto Castro, it premiered in theaters on May 30, 2024.
She produced Chuzalongo (2024) by Diego Ortuño, which was featured at the Blood Window Showcase during the Marché du Film at the 78th Cannes Film Festival in 2023. Its festival debut took place at Fantaspoa 2024 in Brazil, and it premiered in Ecuadorian theaters on October 31, 2024.
She is also the executive producer of La Niña del Azúcar (2025) by Javi Velásquez, currently in post-production and described by Variety as the first «Amazon noir» film.
Her work extends to genre short films, including The Game (2019), selected at the 2019 Sitges Film Festival, and Atrapadas (2019), which won Best Experimental Short Film at Filmocorto 2019 at the Lima Film Festival in Peru.
As a general producer, she has overseen highly successful theatrical releases in Peru, such as Cementerio General 2 (2015) (the year’s top-grossing horror film in Peru) and Secreto Matusita (2014) (also the top-grossing horror film of its year in Peru), among others. These films were later acquired by platforms like Netflix and Amazon and were also released in theaters across Latin America, Europe, and Japan.
