Dorian Fernández Moris

Film director, producer, and musician born in Iquitos, Peru. He is one of the most prolific filmmakers in contemporary Peruvian cinema. His films have attracted over 2 million viewers across countries such as Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Mexico, Colombia, the Philippines, Japan, and more. He has participated in 10 feature films and directed five (05), three of which belong to the thriller genre: Secreto Matusita (2014) and the two films in the Cementerio General franchise (2013 and 2015). These films remain the highest-grossing of their genre in Peru, surpassing all international releases.

He is a key advocate for Amazonian Peruvian cinema, organizing the Iquitos Audiovisual Week and the Audiovisual Film Club.

Currently, he is preparing for the release of his sixth and latest film, La Pampa, which was awarded by the Ministry of Culture in 2018 and has already received 11 international awards and over 25 official selections at various festivals across Europe and Latin America. Additionally, he is producing La niña del azúcar, Chuzalongo, and Isla Bonita, all of which are in post-production.
